				Acer pseudo-sieboldianum (Pax) Kom. - Maple
				 Far East (southern regions), Korea and southeastern
				Manchuria.  Broadleaved forests, along streams, on
				well-drained soil.
				 Medium-sized tree of about 8 m.  Leaves 9 or 11-lobed,
				10-12 cm diam. Very attractive, resistant to urban pollution.
				Z 5 (4).
				 Acer semenovii Regel et Herd. - Maple
				 Central Asia (Pamiro Alay, Tien Shan), Iran and Afghanistan.
				Broadleaved forests, river valleys, on mountain slopes.
				 Small tree or shrub 5-6 m.  Leaves 3-lobed, up to 5 cm long.
				Often abundant crops of attractive pink, winged fruits.  Cold
				resistant and heat resistant.  Does well in hot but not humid
				climate.  Z 6 (5).  New.
				 Acer tegmentosum Maxim. - Maple
				 Far East (southern regions), Korea and northeastern China.
				Dense forests.
				 Tall shrub or medium-sized tree up to 15 m.  Leaves 3-lobed
				with rounded blade 17 cm diam.  Very ornamental.  Resistant to
				urban pollution.  Does well in partial shade.  Not very drought
				tolerant.  Z 5 (4).
				 Acer trautvetteri Medwedev  - Maple
				 Caucasus, in meadows in forest and subalpine zone at
				1,600-2,500 m, usually on lime soil.
				 Tree of a medium size (up to 15 m) with large five-lobed
				leaves 9-15 cm long and 11-16 cm wide.  Dark green in summer
				they turn carmine in autumn.  A handsome foliage tree.
				Requires air humidity, not cold resistant.  Z 6.
				 Acer turcomanicum Pojark.  - Maple
				 Central Asia (Kopet-Dag) and Iran.  Rocky gorges, among
				other trees.
				 Small tree, rarely a shrub.  Leaves grey green, 3-lobed,
				4 cm x 5 cm wide.  The yellow winged fruits are attractive.
				Very ornamental, heat and drought resistant.  Z 6 (5).  New.
