Pinaceae

Larix X czekanowskii Szafer - Larch

Siberia (in the Baykal area, mostly along the Vilyuy River). In the hills and valleys.

A natural hybrid between L. gmelinii (Rupr.) Rupr. and L. sibirica Ledeb. Large tree ca. 40 m, with a slender cone-shaped crown. Extremely cold and frost resistant. Z 0, 1. New.

Larix kamtschatica (Rupr.) Carr. - Larch

Far East (Sakhalin, Kuril Islands, Sikhote-Alin Range). In valleys and hills.

Cone-shaped tall tree 30-35 m. Branches very long. Cold and frost resistant, pollution resistant, very fast-growing. Z 0, 1. New.
