Calle Central at S edge of Universidad
de Costa Rica. Petals pale pinkish.

Suffrutescent herbs, cultivated in gar-
den of private residence. Petals very
pale lavender. Common name: "malva
loca." Liquid made from boiling lvs.
used to impart a weak yellowish tint to
hair, also medicinally as a stomachic.
