bloom throughout the grounds.

Nanjing Chinese Friendship Garden.

past peak bloom, but still showy.
Tulips are past peak bloom but still very showy. Woodland wildflowers are showy
in the English Woodland Garden.
Large drifts of white and blue Spanish bluebells (Hyacinthoides hispanica)
dot the understory in the Mausoleum Garden.
Dwarf bearded iris are beginning to bloom in the Goodmann Iris Garden.
The Princess trees (Paulownia tomentosa) are blooming in the Knolls.
The Shoenberg Temperate House is at its peak of spring bloom. The unusual and
beautiful flowers of the carnivorous American pitcher plants (Sarracenia
sp.) dangle above the bog. The California slope is ablaze with the bright
colors of annual wildfflowers.
Give your nose a treat and visit the Linnean House! Jasmine (Jasminum
polyanthemum) fills the house with its heady aroma. Also stop to smell the
bright yellow blooms of the Canary Island broom (Genista canariensis).
Double impatiens (Impatiens walleriana 'Fiesta Lavender Orchid') and
jasmine are featured in the hanging baskets.
