LATMOSS: A Catalogue of Neotropical Mosses

Claudio Delgadillo M., Bernardina Bello & Angeles Cárdenas S.
Departamento de Botánica
Instituto de Biología
Apartado Postal 70-233
04510 México, D.F. Mexico

The 1995 hard copy of LATMOSS appeared as Monographs in Systematic Botany from the Missouri Botanical Garden Vol. 56. In the interval several changes have occurred. One of the original authors moved, the synonymy has been expanded, and the number of entries has reduced from more than 4000 to 3877. These numbers will continue to change as the database is updated with recent taxonomic revisions or some comprehensive floristic listings. All other provisions in the introduction of the previous version still apply.
