The Cutting Edge

Volume XXIX, Number 2, April 2022

News and Notes | Leaps and Bounds | Germane Literature | Season's Pick | Global Range Extensions

CARYOPHYLLACEAE. Fonseca-Cortés et al. (2022; Phytotaxa 533: 105–110) document the adventive occurrence of Polycarpon tetraphyllum (L.) L. in Colombia. Therefore, in the Manual distribution paragraph for the monospecific genus Polycarpon, “Ecua. y Perú” should be changed to “Col.–Perú.”

ICACINACEAE (or nowadays, CARDIOPTERIDACEAE). Nuraliev et al. (Phytotaxa 532: 67–77) have described a new sp. of Citronella from Vietnam, the first record of the genus from mainland Southeast Asia. Therefore, in the Manual distribution statement for Citronella, simply insert “Indochina” immediately prior to “Indomalasia.”
