Pondus,-eris (s.n.III), abl. sg. pondere:

– [fungus] substantia sicca, suberoso - spongiosa, valde levis (pondere pro voluminis ratione exiguo distincta) (S&A), the substance dry, corky-spongy, very light-weight (distinct with the weight small in proportion to the volume).
