A Grammatical Dictionary of Botanical Latin

 
-ae: nouns ending –ae in the nom.sg. and –es in the gen.sg.: the following valid generic names end in “-ae”, where the ending = Greek alpha + eta. They are nouns of the first declension, q.v.

NOTE: I thank Kanchi Gandhi for calling my attention to these genera and their respective citations in ING. Their declension follows the classical declension of Danae,-es (s.f.I).
