annuliformis,-e (adj.B), annulatiformis,-e (adj.B): ring-shaped; “a name applied to such stigmas as that of many Dogbanes” (Lindley); ); “ring-like, as the apex of the thecae of Schizaea” (Jackson); (in fungi) “ringlike; of annulus type” (S&D);

- peristomio interno e membrana brunneo-lutea annuliformi capsulae orificium paulo superante (Austin), with the inner peristome from a brownish-yellow ring-shaped membrane, somewhat over-topping the orifice of the capsule.

A work in progress, presently with preliminary A through R, and S, and with S (in part) through Z essentially completed.
