A Grammatical Dictionary of Botanical Latin

crebre (adv.), crebro (adv.), compar. creberius (adv.), superl. creberrime (adv.): in close succession, often, repeatedly, thickly, densely, heavily, abundantly; “closely, compactly” (Stearn);

- folia crebre lineato-venosa (B&H), leaves closely linear-veined.

- folia integerrima, coriacea, creberrime lineato-penninervia (B&H), leaves very [.e. completely] entire, coriaceous, very closely linear-pinnate-nerved.

- foliolis integerrimis coriaceis creberrime impresso-punctulatis. (B&H), with the leaflets completely entire, leathery, very closely embedded-punctulate.

- radix crassa multiceps crebre fibrillosa (F. Mueller), root thick, multiple-crowned, thickly fibrillose.

- Ramosus autem non est, ut Petiver vult, sed creberrime saltem filamentosus. (Dill.), it is not, however, branched, as Petiver wants it, so much as it is very densely filamentose.

[Neraudia] folia alterna, petiolata, integerrima, 3-nervia, supra interdum creberrime punctulata, cystolithis parum conspicuis (B&H), leaves alternate, petiolate, competely entire, 3-nerved, above sometimes thickly punctulate, with the cystoliths somewhat conspicuous.

A work in progress, presently with preliminary A through R, and S, and with S (in part) through Z essentially completed.
