Duc. or Ducat. abbrev. of Ducatus,-us (s.m.IV), q.v., ‘duchy.’

- pr. Jeveram Duc. Oldenburgensis (C.Mueller), near Jevera of the Duchy of Oldenburg.

- [var. D]. in ericetis compactis gelatinoso-humidiusculis Jeverae Duc. Oldenburg. (C. Mueller), in the compact, gelatinous-somewhat humid Erica-associations of Jever of the Duchy of Oldenburg

- Germania: prope Jeveram Ducat. Oldenburg. (C. Mueller), Germany, near Jever of the duchy [i.e. Dukedom] of Oldenburg.

- ad arbores campestres rarius, ad sylvestres, praesertim fagos, sylvarum humidarum Germaniae sept. maritimae pr. Jever Duc. Oldenburgensis 1840 copiosissime legimus (C. Mueller), we most copiously collected it on trees of the plains more rarely, on the forest-trees, especially Beeches [i.e. Fagus] of the moist forests of northern, maritime [i.e. coastal] Germany near Jever of the Duchy of Oldenburg in 1840.
