A Grammatical Dictionary of Botanical Latin

fimetarius,-a,-um (adj.A): growing on or among dung; associated with dungheaps [> L. fimetum,-i (s.n.II), dungheap]; see coprophilus,-a,-um (adj.A); see dung-loving.

The fungal genus Fimaria; Fimetaria, a synonym of Sordaria (Ainsworth & Bisby).

- fungus fimetarius, super fimi equine tumulos (Mich.), a dungheap fungus, above little hills of horse dung.

- fungus fimetarius in fimo vaccino (Mich.), a dungheap fungus, on cattle dung.

A work in progress, presently with preliminary A through R, and S, and with S (in part) through Z essentially completed.
