Jubar,-aris (s.m.III), abl. sg. jubare, also iubar,-aris (s.m.III), abl. sg. iubare: a beaming light, splendor, sunshine, sunbeam; the radiance of the heavenly bodies; splendor, glory, radiance; see splendor;

- it portis jubare exorto delecta juventus, as the sunbeams arose, the selected youth goes from the gates.

- jubar aureus solis, the golden beam of the sun.

[Asteraceae] Brachyglottis × jubar P.D.Sell; Brachyglottis jubar P.D.Sell, a radiant, daisy-like bright yellow flower, patented name ‘Sunshine.’
