A Grammatical Dictionary of Botanical Latin

 
lutoso-arenarius,-a,-um (adj.A), lutoso-arenosus,-a,-um (adj.A): muddy sand; a sand with a mixture of mud (silt, clay);

- in terra lutoso-arenaria, on muddy-sandy earth (or soil).

- [moss] in pratis humidis et uliginosis, ad rivulorum margines, praecipue in solo lutoso-arenoso Europae occidentalis et borealis (C. Muell.), in moist and swampy meadows, on the margins [i.e. banks] of streams, especially in muddy-sandy soil of western Europe.

- [moss] in terra lutoso-arenaria prope Wertheimium (C.Muell.), on earth muddy-sandy near Wertheimium.

- Locus, arenoso-lutosa aprica (Hedw. Adum.), locality, open sandy-muddy [sc. places].
