sweet: ambrosiacus,-a,-um (adj.A), q.v.; dulcis,-e (adj.B), of taste; suavis,-e (adj.B), of smell and taste; mellifluens,-entis (adj.B): honey-dropping or -dripping; mellifer,-fera,-ferum (adj.A) or melliger,-gera,-gerum (adj.A): honey-bearing; mellitus,-a,-um (adj.A), honey-sweet; suavis,-e (adj.B), sweet, delightful; hedy-, q.v., in Gk. comp., sweet; glyco-, glycy-, q.v., in Gk. comp., sweet of taste or smell; cf. blandus,-a,-um (adj.A) 'pleasant;' opp. amarus,-a,-um (adj.A), acerbus,-a,-um (adj.A) ‘bitter;’ cf. sugary;

- aqua (s.f.I) dulcis, fresh water.

- satianter (adv.) dulcis, cloyingly sweet.

- super quam dulcis, more than sweet.
