This poster was dedicated to the memory of Julian Alfred Steyermark (1909-1988), who initiated the Flora of the Venezuelan Guayana. Steyermark’s 28,000 individual plant collections from the flora area and his connections with colleagues worldwide made it possible to assemble the team of nearly 200 contributors for the project. |
